Happy Birthday Dad!

I am so happy to be home for my dad's birthday this year. He's had a rough past year or so, so I'm glad I can be here for him on this special day.
We're having a few people over tonight for cake & ice cream but playing it low key today. We'll go for his b'day lunch tomorrow (my mom had to work today).
Dad, I hope you have a special day and we can provide some means of happiness for you this year.

Safe in Toon Town

I made it after a very long day and a bit of travelling. It feels great to be home - and it's even nice and warm. I'll have pics soon as we have a few things going on this weekend. I am really looking forward to relaxing and visiting with friends and family.

I'm goin' home

I want to find the song "Goin' Home" by Daughtry (I think) - it's from American Idol but I think it fits for me now (from what I remember of the lyrics). I'm goin' "home" in 2 days and am so excited! I am looking forward to seeing a lot of family and friends.
